Film is considered to be an important art form, a source of common entertainment and a important order for educating or indoctrinating citizens. The visual elements of cinema gives motion pictures a global energy of communication. Some films have become common worldwide attractions by using dubbing or subtitles that translate the dialogue.

Art film also known as art cinema, art movie or independent film is generally a serious, noncommercial, independently made film or a foreign language film that may have these qualities, but may have been made by a bigger company in its home possession and achieved popular success. It may thus be target at a niche audience, rather than a mass audience or the use of subtitles in foreign language films may limit audience appeal.

Drama film is a film genre that depends generally on in-depth growth of practical characters dealing with sensitive matters. Sensitive matter such as alcoholism, drug addiction, racial prejudice, religious intolerance, poverty, crime and corruption put the characters in discord with themselves, others, society and even normal phenomena.This film genre can be compared with an action film, which relies on fast-paced action and physical difference but apparent character development. All film genres can involve dramatic elements, but commonly, films considered drama films focus mainly on the drama of the main result.

Horror films movies that work to gain responses of fear, horror and terror from viewers. Their plans commonly involve themes of death, the supernatural or mental illness. Horror movies also frequently contain a central villain.Early horror movies were mostly based on classic literature of the gothic/horror genre, such as Dracula, Frankenstein. Horror films, in contrast, often draw thoughts from the instability of life after World War II, giving rise to the three apparent, but related, sub-genres: the horror-of-personality Psycho film, the horror-of-armageddon incursion of the Bodysnatchers film, and the horror-of-the-demonic The Exorcist film. The last sub-genre may be seen as a modernized transition from the initial horror films, expanding on their accent on usual agents that bring horror to the world.
